This cruise was a back to back.....5 days to the Eastern Caribbean and 5 days to the Western Caribbean.

The ports to the Eastern were the Princess Cays and to Nassau Bermuda. We didn't do any tours in Nassau, just went to the Straw Market. Nassau was an ok port but I have been to better ones. Also I had been to the Cays twice before, so I just stayed on the ship. I liked the western Caribbean a lot. The ports to this side were Grand Cayman and Ocho Rios Jamaica I enjoyed both of these ports very much. I just shopped a little in Grand Cayman. In Ocho Rios we went to the Dunn River Falls. It was a pretty place and the scenery reminded me of Hawaii. The first 5 days we in the aft E631. The cabin was pretty good except we noticed a few big indentations in the floor which was covered with carpet. On the second leg of the cruise we had to change cabins and were in E 212. The only complaint that I have is that our cabin was directly above the Princess theater. Every afternoon at about 3:30 the entertainment started to rehersal It was so loud that the walls of our cabin were vibrating. I finally called the passenger service desk to find out what the racket was and all they could say is"'we are sorry". So another lesson learned not to have a cabin over the theater. This was our 5th cruise on the Caribbean. If she was in dry dock in Nov. 2011, it is news to me. We both feel like she needs some major renovations as she is really starting to show her age. During this cruise we also could smell a sewer stench at times which was very unpleasant. Our favorite ship board activities were the trivia, and Karaoke. I also went to afternoon tea twice. The band who played in the Explores Lounge and Club Fusion Epithani were so very good. This was our 9th Princess cruises (mine 11th two on Carnival. WE are Platinum level so I can say we will stay with Princess.

I just thought of another small complaint. With back to back cruises the food in the dining rooms were exactly the same for both cruises. I think it would have been better had their been a slight change maybe adding or changing one entree each leg of the cruise.

Cabin Review

Cabin E

We always usually book a cabin on the Emerald deck. It doesn't matter if it is obstructed or not...just as long as I can see sky each morning that I wake up....NO INSIDE CABINS FOR ME!!!!!.
