It was my first cruise with Royal. It would be my last but they are giving me a sweet heart deal on another cruise on the Caribbean on another ship. We boarded 11/21 in Baltimore. We noticed a lot of kids, about 600 on this cruise. The kids were in the adult pools, some young ones in diapers. The staff said nothing Turns out we had a Junior suite which was pricey, suites are also under the pools and Windjammer. So the more you pay the louder the noise. Day and night we listened to chairs and carts rolling over us. If you also want a balcony expect the smell of gear oil. Never did figure that out, actually schooled their HVAC tech on fresh air intakes at 3 am. Then we had a flood. They tried to tell me, while they were sucking water out the cabin beside me, that it was my shower. They figured out real quick I was familiar with the trades. When I asked it if was potable or waste the "plumbers" had a blank stare and left. We also had a dinner at Izumes. I had a problem with raw chicken being cooked on a hot rock surrounded by raw vegetable. My wife had sushi and ended up sick all night. The next day the water was calm outside of Key West and they canceled stop on us, that was the one stop I was excited about. Thanks Giving night at 1 am to 4 am we had no water and the toilets quit working. The seas were rough all 8 days, sick bags were placed around boat, it is small so gets tossed around easy. 50% of this crew has a attitude, which I have never seen on Carnival. I was glad to get off the ship and would not recommend anyone to take this cruise. So I dealt with smells, headaches, burning eyes, flood, food poisoning, noise, toilets not working and rough seas. If the sounds like a good vacation, then this is the ship for you. Oh, and lying crew members.
