My husband and I felt this trip was like a prototype, having many wrinkles that needed tweaking before the working model evolves. The passengers were guinea pigs, needed to find out which, if any, innovations were feasible.
Check in at Southampton was rather chaotic, as everyone seemed to arrive at the same time. Those of us who had checked in on line were sent to a different area, and waited for someone to bring up our details on a tablet. When our turn came, we were told we hadn't checked in. I said that if I had not checked in, I would not have been able to print off my sea pass! That piece of technology was not working, but we were able to continue to the ship
There was no feedback form to fill in; those who gave their email info were to be notified and would have a week to send in their feedback; there were many guests on board who were not leaving USA until 19th, arriving back in the UK November 26th. As the ship docked at Bayonne November 10th, it would be too late for any feedback.
