Our cruising background - 13 total previous cruises aboard Princess, Royal Caribbean, and Carnival to Alaska, Pacific Northwest, Pacific Southwest, Mexican Riviera, Bermuda, and Western Caribbean. This was our first ever visit to Hawaii.

Wife booked in December. Package included round-trip flights and bus transfers to pier. Received all paperwork via email about 4 weeks prior to sailing, plenty of time to arrange homeside logistics. "Fold them/seal them yourself" luggage tags a bit cheesy, but unavoidable consequence of technology, i.e., can't very well email standard pre-glued tags.

Outbound flight legs: SEA to LAX to HNL. Return leg HNL to SEA. Don't know why agent booked LAX outbound leg. Do always seem to see someone famous at LAX - this time was George Take of Star Trek fame. This celebrity encounter prospect, however, does not offer sufficient reason to CHOOSE to fly through LAX.
