From the minute we neared the port It felt like being herded. That is no fault of the cruise. They have done the best with what Charlestons have given them to work with. With that said, once we were dropped off only to be herded to a line, to a shuttle (close enough to walk) to be herded to another line. to another line, to another line then finally the line to get on the ship.
I get to the room and the bed breaks. I told room steward, it was never fixed. Third day, when they cleaned the room they moved the bed. Under the bed they found two packs of opened double mint gum. Not mine. Must have been left from the previous guest. All in all it was not a bad room.
Food was no better than hospital food. I learned to either get the pizza, hamburger or the wok, however the wok closed by the time I was ready to eat. People were complaining about the long wait, an hour or more for the anytime dining. I did that once and learned real fast it was not worth the wait.
Nice room. The ocean room was not much good once the sun went down. I don't think I would pay the extra for the window. It was right around the corner from the elevator which was real nice.
