Sail Date: Nov 2014

The MSC Divina is a magnificent ship with ambience to spare. I am a travel agent and often serve a Group Leader for my clients. On this sail date of November 12, 2014 we had 57 cruisers. The ship definitely has a Mediterranean flair to it and it cries to say "Relax and Enjoy"....which our group did for 10 nights aboard. Please note that, although the ship is absolutely beautiful, it does have flaws.....there are no handrails in the lower level of the theater and the stairs can be deceiving. They are lighted but confusing when you walk down them. Be careful! Also, there are one and two steps throughout the ship, appearing where you don't expect them to be, so also be aware of your surroundings when it comes to stairs/inclines/declines where ever you go! The Dining experience is relaxed and consistent. The food is served in a timely fashion and, although the portions are average, they are magnificent and flavored well. You are encouraged to have seconds if you have a big appetite. Our cabin (13120) was on the starboard side and mid ship, close to the elevators which was a plus for my cabin mate and me. It was clean and beautiful as well as functional. Bring extra hangers since the hangers provided by the cruise line are fat and limit the number of clothing you can hang. I suggest placing the hangers provided on the floor of the closet with your shoes. When it comes to the safety drill, you do not have to wear your life vest to your muster station (Carry it). The entertainment on board is probably some of the best afloat and takes into consideration many cultures and interests. Don't miss the Michael Jackson Tribute.....it is awesome, as are all of the acrobatic shows, combined with singing and dancing. Not to be missed! When we took the Panama Canal excursion, it was very well executed and went off without any problems at all. The staff led us to our bus and away we went for a wonderful experience into the Canal, all the way to the Pacific Ocean. Embarkation and Disembarkation went off with out a hitch either way, except for the people who needed wheelchair assists. Prepare to lose your group if you need this service. We waited 45 minutes for anyone to assist us on embarkation and an hour wait for disembarkation. In summary, we had two mishaps during our 10 night cruise, which were unfortunate but did not impact on the rest of the group's wonderful time on the MSC Divina. I do warn you of the stair/incline/decline situation so slow down, be aware of where you are walking and otherwise, have a great time.

Cabin Review

Cabin B2 Balcony

The cabin 13120 is situated on the starboard side of the ship. It was clean and comfortable with ample closet space. I would suggest bringing some wire hangers since the hangers provided, though ample, were very fat and limited the number of clothes you could hang. The bathroom is ample for a ship and the way the shower is configured works well to avoid water on the floor. All in all a great cabin mid ship!
