  3. Queen of the Mississippi
For our third cruise with American Cruise Lines we chose a trip down the Mississippi River from Memphis,TN to New Orleans, LA. As with the other two trips, we found the ship to be delightfully outfitted for our 144 passenger group. The staff was genuinely cheerful and helpful at all times. We spent enough time cruising during the day that we had a thorough look at the country bordering the River (which I loved). The meals were pleasing in their variety and the consistent excellent quality of the food. Service was cheerfully rendered and timely. We enjoyed the shore excursions which were well planned. One UNIQUE feature was a set of walks/hikes with "Riverlorian" Mike Link who loves to get off the boat and walk among the natural & historical feature of each spot. For us hikers, that was heaven !! Boy does he have a rich grasp of the history and details of each site. So, you can tell that we loved the cruise and fervently hope you are blessed with a chance to cruise and hike with Mike Link.

Cabin Review

Cabin 213
Our cabin was spacious enough for our needs. Plenty of room to walk around everything with relaxing chairs to sit and read in, etc. The balcony offered open air views of the countryside and a delightful spot to sit out read. The bathroom was quite roomy for a cruise ship. We were quite pleased with our cabin.
