One of the best cruises we have experienced overall. While there was not a lot of river travel, that left plenty of time for shore excursions to get up close and personal experiences at several different Chateaus and other wineries and into the wonderful historic tons and villages in the region.
The staff on this boat was one of the best we have encountered. The food onboard was excellent. The tour excursions were all great and the optional excursion activities were outstanding.
This was our first experience on a Viking "Longship". The ship's facilities were the best we have experienced. The upgraded balcony cabins were great and the extra room was well worth it.
Cabin Review
Great room with a small veranda for sitting and enjoying the cruise. The rooms are a little larger than on past cruises and are well appointed and comfortable.
