This was my third time doing this cruise from Barcelona to Ft Lauderdale. First time on the Nieuw Amsterdam. Warm sunny weather until the last day. Don't believe anyone could have gotten sea sick.
The food was very good in the main diningroom and the Lido. Sometimes it took a long time to eat dinner as there were not enough servers. Can't be sure to make it to the 8 pm show even with a 5:30 reservation. Not enough wine stewards in the diningroom.
All areas on the ship were clean and well maintained.
Cabin Review
Deluxe Ocean-View Verandah Stateroom
Air conditioning works well when turned on. It was clean. Cabin lacked storage space. Only drawers were the small ones in the night stands No cabinet over the small sofa like it shows in their pics. The small corner cabinet held the hair dryer and stemware no room to store anything there. When you open the closet doors they block the light so you can't see inside. Table top was very worn.
