This was my 3rd cruise aboard the Funship "Liberty" this year, and just like the others, it was truly FUN! I had easy embarkation, and my cabin was ready when I boarded at about 11 A.M. I was a bit disappointed to find that the normal C.D., "Cory" was on vacation for this cruise, but his fill in, "Gary" did a great job, so the cruise wasn't impacted negatively. As usual, the entertainment aboard was excellent, with a BIG 10 piece band, and lots of dancing girls, and guys. Two production singers who both were excellent as well, rounded out the cast for the big shows. The "fly on" entertainers were above and beyond also. I've seen Christopher Alan Graves a number of times, and he NEVER disappoints, and Lovena Fox was new to me, but I truly look forward to seeing her again, and again.
Food was very good, with service a bit spotty. I had early seating, at the forward dining room, but because of slow service, asked to be moved to the aft dining room. Service there was better, but still not up to the standards I've become accustomed to aboard Carnival. Not bad enough to ruin an other wise GREAT cruise, but a bit annoying at times.
I rarely leave the ship, so can't comment on the ports, but I had others report that they had lots of fun ashore.
WAY forward, and I usually prefer an aft cabin, but this cabin was a tiny bit smaller than some other insides, but was very comfortable, and for the most part, quiet. There is a bit of noise when pulling into port, and on our last sea day, when seas got rough, it got a bit LOUD in the cabin with the waves hitting the hull of the ship. No problem, but if you're a light sleeper, you might want to move a bit further aft.
