Sail Date: Feb 2007

Had a great cruise. Never sailed out of New Orleans before. I was surprised at how long it took to get out of the Mississippi river.

The ship and crew were great. Had a delay at the airport when boarding the buses. They said it was because of an outbreak of a virus and that they were sterilizing the ship. We had an ocean view stateroom which was nice. The only time we were in the room was usually sleeping or getting dressed.

The cabin attendant was great and so were the wait staff. The food was good. I was not wowed, however, I don't expect to be with that large of a group of people. I think the food is what you would find in a good restaurant. The wait staff was very attentive and accommodating. The last night I did not like the fish selection and they went out of their way to make sure I chose something else.
