Decided to go on legend on seas because we heard that royal Caribbean cruises were far superior than other cruise lines. We also picked the fall cruise in Canada because it went to St Pierre Micqfuelon
My husband works in Quebec and watches the cruise ships sail away and thought it would be good to try before he retired. My husband flew to Quebec and I took the Via Train. It took 3 trains. It was a long day but free wifi and a place to read all day is good for me.
We enjoyed Thurs night with dinner and a carriage ride through the plains of Abraham. Because it was before Halloween everywhere was decorated with pumpkins and fall decor. We stayed at the Delta. It was a short taxi ride from the train station and to the port.
We had a former ocean view cabin that is now a balcony. Balcony good size. We like to choose a balcony do my husband can take pictures. We like to sit out there. I know a lot of repeater cruisers recommend inside rooms but they are the ones who get up early to nab the good seats all over the ship. A balcony always gives us a view. Cabin storage was sparse. No where to put luggage. Bathroom size good. Took 3 days before they gave us shampoo soap etc. had to ask for robes and pens. Cabin steward was excellent and made sure we always had ice for our wine and drinks as well as to fill up my ice bag for my bad knee. Bed was hard but when I mentioned it to him he put in extra padding.6564 is close to elevators, stairs and coffee shop. Buy 6 coffees get 7th free, much better than drink card. This room was quiet and it made it easy to get to wherever we wanted. It is mid ships so better when the water was rough.
