The process for getting aboard the ship was great The process was speedy. So after traveling from early morning we headed to the buffet. The food was so so. Being the 1st day I figured it would get better from there. Not the case. Being a Mediterranean Cruise Line I thought the food would be exceptional. On a scale of 1-5, 5 being the best it was about a 2. The flow of getting food at the buffet was not smooth at all. This design needs to be revamped. Ice cream was served from 2-5 in the afternoon up on the pool deck. Why isn't it served at the buffet and why only for a few hours? That doesn't make sense. To get to our restaurant for dinner we had to go up to the 6th floor to go down to the 5th floor. Couldn't get to the restaurant any other way.

My large luggage piece was damaged by the cruise line. The entire top of it was ripped open. I filled out the form and was told when I got home to call the cruise line. I did so, and was told I had to email the form in. I did that and have made numerous phone calls, left messages, emailed supervisors and not once have I heard back from the person who "is in charge". This speaks volumes of how they care about their customers. I have been calling and leaving messages for over 3 weeks.

The language barrier was very frustrating on the ship. I have been on many cruises and I know the staff is from all over the world. Most of the staff had a hard time understanding all of us. People we met on the cruise felt the same way. I strongly suggest spend your money on a different cruise line.

Cabin Review

Cabin Balcony

The cabin was very nice and always cleaned to a perfection. I give high marks to my cabin crew. They were accommodating on the few request we had. Such as unlocking the door between our rooms and the door on the balcony between our rooms. Ice bucket was filled all the time for us. We did have an emergency one night and they provided an ice pack for us. I had called the medical center but they close or either 8 or 9 at night so they weren't any help to us. How come the first aid department isn't open 24 hours? Good question!
