Sail Date: Oct 2014
Cabin: Family Penthouse with Balcony
Traveled with children

We just returned from an 11 night cruise on the Gem and had a great time. A few days before sailing we decided to upgrade to a Mini Suite Guarantee and in our case it REALLY paid off. We were upgraded to a 2 bedroom penthouse suite!

So, needless to say we got spoiled. The funny part was that I thought they made a mistake about the upgrade. It took a few days to accept that we were legitimately in a penthouse suite.

On to the cruise:

Cabin Review

Family Penthouse with Balcony

Cabin SC

HUGE cabin! 2 bedrooms, 4 tvs, beautiful main bathroom with bathtub complete with bath salts (and a tv), spa shower and incredible views. The shower kind of hangs over the side of the ship! Cabin needs some repairs (wear and tear and lots of dust from the ventilation system). Beds were comfy. Clean cabin just needs some TLC.
