Embarkation day was total chaos. When we were called to board the ship we couldn’t get into our stateroom until a certain time. We were told to go to deck 11 for lunch so we did. This area was like zoo gone wild. There were no plates, glasses or places to sit inside or out. You had to hover over an area to pounce on the first table available. Guest who had finished eating were still at tables playing computer games. That is considerate. There was luggage in the aisles and in the chairs. When we finally received our tableware some of the food was undercooked and couldn’t be eaten. If this is what Disney cruising is all about I will pass. They could and should have done better.
The subsequent days did go better than my first impression. The food was about average. Our wait staff was good, but others I observed did a better job than ours. The live shows were superb and the special effects were excellent. The pool for 11 years olds were not used because they were too small and extremely crowded.
As the ship sailed back to port on the last night I took post cards down to the Customer Service Desk. I asked if they would be mail from the US Port. I had the correct US postage on the cards. The young lady confirmed the postage and said yes they would be mailed once in port.
The stateroom was excellent. Our cabin steward (George) was wonderful. That was one of the highlightes of the short cruise.
