After all the negative reviews we have to say we were pleasantly surprised. The Norwegian staff was friendly, polite and willing to assist as best they could. Many times the staff would walk up to us and just start a conversation, many of them were also experienced with Hawaii and were able to provide great insight on each island, they had told us they were able to join shore excursions for reduced prices for them to become experienced with the islands.

The food was good, we are very picky eaters and were quite impressed, we only dined in the Liberty dining room twice and we ate in each of the specialty restaurants, one was better than the next. We are not buffet people and did not eat there, so I cannot comment on the buffet.

The ship only had 32 kids onboard, so kids was not a problem. The entertainment from what we saw was not that great, although the staff had a talent show which was entertaining, we were so busy during the day we were quite tired in the evening.

Cabin Review

Large Balcony

Cabin B6

Waste of space for the large balcony, there is still only 2 chairs and a table, would have been nice to have a chaise lounge or 2, the balcony was completely covered and the cabin was far forward, unfortunately being so far forward the seas were quite rough 2 of the 7 days and we really felt the ship slamming down on the waves. The cabin was on the small side, closet was too small to hang both guests clothes, however there was a few drawers and shelves in the closet for more storage. The ships tv is poor, only 2 channels to watch other than reruns of the previous days activities.
