We are a married couple in our 50s, work demanding jobs with little time off and have been on 6 cruises since 2006, three on Carnival. This cruise was chosen because it fit our limited vacation time and departed from a port which we could drive to conveniently.

We dropped our luggage at the port and then parked our car at a covered garage. Before we embarked, we stopped at the next door seafood restaurant, Willie G's. The oysters were excellent. Boarding was fairly efficient and we were on board with minimal delay. Once aboard, our cabin was ready and we met our steward, Richard.

We were in cabin 1307, oceanview, and we were frankly astonished at the size of the cabin. The beds were made into a king and quite comfortable. With only two people on a four night cruise, we had more space than we could use. This cabin is on the lowest deck and was very stable although we had some occasional unexplained clanking at night.

Ocean View

Cabin 6B

Larger than expected. Nice view but close to water line. Lots of storage space. Unusual clanking noise at night sometimes.
