I have been on many cruises. Probably about 20 of them. I've lost count. This one overall was ok, but there were enough things wrong with it to keep from returning to this cruise line.

Specialty dining, having paid for the dining package, left a bit to be desired. A major food allergy was ignored and when an attempt was made to correct the problem, the same steak was put back on the grill 3 times until it resembled shoe leather. The Brazilian grill failed to live up to its advertising. Tiny portions of meat pre-cooked and served on a spit. Some were to tough to be edible.

No midnight buffet. No food after 10:30 pm unless you want a horribly prepared hamburger and want to wait for it to be cooked to order. No pizza anywhere, at any time of day without paying a service charge of $5.00 per pizza and have it delivered by room service staff. Which, by the way was equally bad. Almost 2 hours to deliver the worst food ever on a ship. Room service refused to answer the phone on many occasions. How do you mess up a peanut butter and jelly sandwich? By putting it on hard stale bread leftover from days past. No child would ever consider eating it. No adult would eat anything else on the limited room service menu. Really, I'm not that fussy. I'm used to budget-cruising, but there where some serious issues with after-hours food, and also some periods of the day, where you just couldn't grab something for yourself. Also, there was a lot of weird ethnic foods with little other choices. I'm all for trying new things, but I really don't want curry or over-spiced Indian dishes while on a moving vessel. They didn't offer a lot of choices.

Cabin Review

Mid-Ship Balcony

Cabin BA

Standard balcony room. Not bad. Nice shower. However, I've had more storage space in an inside cabin on other ships. Stowing clothes was an issue due to limited space.
