Boarding the ship was effortless. Once onboard was able to go immediately to cabin and a couple of luggage was already there. Other luggage arrived shortly thereafter. The Steward was very attentive. We requested twin beds, but there was a queen bed. Asked the steward about changing to twin, but he insisted that we try the current arrangement and let him know the next day if we wanted to change to twin. We did not change as the Queen bed was ok. we had ordered robes, but were not there. Got the robes 2 days later. The wait staff were very nice, but seemed a bit hurried and displeased about waiting on people. This happened throughout the cruise. Some, of course, were better than others. The food in the dining room did not seem to be too special. At least it did not taste exceptional. In fact it was sub par. Maybe we just expected better compared to cruises we took about 10 years ago. The menu seemed to be the same every night. The dishes were very salty. The entertainment was mediocre. Nothing new and seemed boring. The disembarkation went as smooth as the embarkation. All in all, we were pleased with all aspects of the cruise and enjoyed ourselves onboard and at the ports we stopped.
We were aft of ship and there was a lot of vibration. Although we were on deck 11 it did not seem to matter. Not sure if that was felt mid or forward. Of course the bathroom was very small, especially the shower. The curtain did not go all the way to bottom and water kept going out onto floor. Had to be very careful how we took showers. Also, the Steward requested that towels would be replaced every two days. No big deal, we obliged.
