we sailed from 10/27 to 11/7/14 to Eastern Caribbean.Ship was pretty nice as we had never sailed on the Gem before, but have been on other NCL ships, this one compared favorably to the others..Had really nice weather until we left St.Kitts on Monday, until Wednesday morning it was pretty rough. The ship is laid out very nicely as we stayed in 9114, middle-aft of ship, deck 9, cabin 9114, elevator was about 8 cabins away.

Our room steward Brussel was very nice, funny and entertaining and always left a really cute animal for us at night. One night we came in and there was a monkey hanging from the ceiling, Brussel was also very helpful too answering any questions we had.

I can't say enough about the Casino staff, so friendly, funny and very accomidating. I even got hugs when we said goodbye. The casino itself was big enough for the ship but don't expect to win anything big!!Just play for fun and you won't be dissapointed.
