Just back from a 5 day cruise stopping at Roatan and Cozumel. Went to Little French Key on Roatan
Picked up outside the gate at the port and driven to Frenchy's 44 restaurant. From there a short boat ride to the island, You get two drinks and a lunch consisting of small lobster tail, chicken, and beef with some sides. The beach was nothing to write home about but the people were nice. Some in my party got to hold a jaguar for pictures but it cost $70. It was not crowded and with numerous ships in port that was my goal but I felt it was a little pricey. The second stop was Cozumel and we went to Nachi Cocum. The beach was great and we had unlimited drinks and food. Also, limited number of guests allowed per day. Was not crowded at all. Pool was very nice and the food was great. Very friendly people. Well worth the money and I'll go here again next time we're in Cozumel. The Vision of the Seas was pretty nice for our purposes. Not all the bells and whistles but enough to keep us busy. The specialty Italian restaurant was fantastic. My daughter enjoyed the rock climbing wall and Romeo at our main dining room table was great. He kept the younger ones entertained with card tricks and balancing knives and forks on tooth picks. The only hiccup was trying to get a drink at the pool bar one night. Only one other person at the bar but I waited 10 minutes for help while two walk-ups were helped immediately. I just gave up and went elsewhere. Getting on and off the ship was a breeze.
Grand suite was nice. Plenty of room with two chairs and two lounge chairs on the balcony. Nice fruit plate and concierge amenities. Our suite on Celebrity had more extras but for the money this was fine. The previous reviews that I read mentioned considerable noise from the pool deck above. It's true. We heard the arranging of the chairs being dragged across the deck on numerous occasions
