We have just returned from a 'Danube Delights' cruise on Emerald Star and can honestly say the whole week was brilliant. The ship itself was modern and clean and our cabin was extremely well designed in terms of space and storage. Servicing of the cabin was excellent, being checked twice each day. The food on board was of an exceptional standard and the wine and beer provided with our meals were very good quality. The price of bar drinks was not excessive – a very pleasant surprise! In the evening, there was a good variety of entertainment on offer which was enjoyable and professionally presented.

All members of the crew were welcoming and eager to provide top class service. Our cruise director was extremely professional and attended to every detail. Her daily information briefings were extremely enjoyable and a printed itinerary was provided each evening. The excursions were incredibly well organised and punctual whilst the guides were professional and knowledgeable, providing key information about the places visited. The travel to embarkation went smoothly as did disembarkation which was really well organised and efficient.

Overall we had a fantastic holiday, which owed a great deal to the people. The crew, in particular, but also our fellow guests, combined to make this one of our most memorable experiences.
