This cruise was perfect for us as we were planning to celebrate a birthday and an anniversary..

After hundreds of hours of research between Disney, RCL and NCL we finally zeroed in on NCL as we thought air travelling with kids, fly to FL, stay in hotel etc etc is too much of logistical challenge to handle...

Now second conundrum - how to book - again after research we decided to book directly through NCL as there was little difference between expedia, costco travel and NCL - glad that I did it as the support from NCL booking agent was excellent.

The Haven 2-Bedroom Family Villa with Balcony

Cabin H4

Nice suite. Has two bedrooms and a living room. The MBR has an on suite double sink vanity, Tub and a huge shower - entire bathroom has floor to ceiling window which is tinted from outside (yeah - privacy protected :). King bed is awesome and the room has storage to take care of a Uhaul truck load of stuff :). A TV, dressing table and very upscale lighting fixtures (including the ones in closets)..Living room has sofa,(that doubles up as bed for one in the night) sort of breakfast table with 4 chairs, big flatscreen tv, mini fridge, lavazza coffee maker(dispenses hot water too) and small counter space with adequate supply of wine glasses and other tableware. Living room also has reading table, chair and a couch which was bulky and we thought was un-necessary addition to the roomThe living room opens to balcony that has two big chairs and a side table. Nice sized balcony - this balcony is last in the haven so only one side of balcony is haven restaurant while other side is bath of 16720.Second bedroom has a small tv and two single beds(one on the floor level and another is pull down). With two kids that room will be crampy..however we had only 1 using that room so it was okay. The bath with this room is smaller than MBR bath but has a shower and a vanity. Toilet seat in this bath is little too small for adults. All TV's have DVD players. Our TV remote were hard to use (the sensors are so badly placed on tv's that you will have to use remote only in one particular angle - you will figure out though).Overall a very good room with lots of privacy as this is the last room in Haven (first from the center of ship) and has a sort of private entrance being the only room onto right side of the Haven lobby. Haven restaurant, Lounge, Pool and concierge all are steps away so cant ask for better location. However, whole Haven is in the FWD of ship so brace up for some motion sickness and rocky sailing especially if you hit rough seas(we did). This cabin is good for 4 but might get tight for 5
