Lets start this review off by stating the obvious, that the Concordia is a beautiful new ship BUT the beauty ends there. Our group was 80+ as my wife was attending a seminar that was being hosted aboard the Concordia. We husbands came along to enjoy the food, see Europe in the fall and to just hang out while our wives googled over the seminar. Now wouldn't you think that with a group of 80+ that Costa would of had this new ship organized ? Well guess what?, it was a disaster in the making, everything Costa does in Europe is far different then is done in the Caribbean.

I am a lifelong traveler, and have been on all of the major cruise lines with 20+ sailing in the past (10) years including the then new Costa Victoria in 1997. I just had returned from our yearly family vacation aboard the R.C. Brilliance in May 2006, and thought when the wife offered for me to tag along, I agreed...My favorite N.F.L. team was getting clobbered every weekend so lets go....WOW what a mistake. Darn those Raiders..

The food in the dining room was something from a bad Chef Boyardee cooking episode, the room service menu scant, and the buffet looked like the food line from a bad prison.....No exaggeration... If you need to lose weight please book this ship, it will do wonders for your waistline.
