We traveled with friends to the Mediterranean, round-trip from Barcelona in October which was the perfect time of year weather-wise. The temperature was pleasant every day for touring.
Our embarkation from Barcelona was well-organized at about noon and we met up with our friends at the Bistro on Five for the first of our many good meals on board Equinox.
The ship was beautiful, clean and in good repair everywhere we went. The staff was very accomodating, friendly and helpful. A special shout-out goes to our room stewards Agus and Sailesh who kept our cabin clean and well-supplied at all times and to our butler Keegan who was helpful in every detail without being either overbearing or obsequious. Keegan provided us with breakfast in our cabin every morning and small snacks in our cabin every afternoon. He also organized two small parties in our cabin for our friends while sailing into and out of Venice.

Sky Suite 2
Our cabin was spacious with plenty of storage and a wonderful bathroom with a combination bathtub/shower. We purchased an upgrade to a Suite Guarantee a few weeks before the cruise when a saw what I considered to be a very good price that lasted only one day. We were assigned an S2 Sky Suite on deck twelve under the Ocean View buffet so we were mildly concerned about the possible noise factor. There was some occasional low level rumbling that I assume came from overhead but nothing that interfered in any way with our enjoyment of the cabin. If you choose this cabin or are assigned it as a guarantee, I hope you will be as happy with it as we were. We would choose this cabin again.
