Flew into IAH the night before the cruise and took the Royal shuttle to the port and back.Very efficient. They took our bags at IAH and loaded them on the ship Galveston was not the nightmare some have written about. We were off the shuttle and on board in about 20 minutes.Went to the Windjammer for a snack and went to check on the Diamond club.(more about that later) Navigator is pretty much the same as other ships in its class. ,.As usual, the food was very good, especially the prime rib on night 1.WEWe chose my time dining and ate most nights around 6;00 sometimes with reservations sometimes not (it didnt seem to make a difference we never had to wait for seating) Formal night were again a disappointment.WE reserved a table for 10:00 the first Formal night, but the people at the table didn't seem to grasp the concept.Guess the tux goes into retirement. AS mentioned ,we checked out the Diamond Club.It is woefully undersized.We. went one night and couldn't find a seat.Their "continental breakfast" was a self serve affair, SO most eveninjgs we went to the Schooner Bar where we discovered Mercelyn (Merci) one of the best cocktail servers we ever had! and apparently others felt the same in a couple of days she had a group of "regulars" ever night. Entertainment was a bit of a disappointment. The first night introduction was not too exciting, featuring the cruise director and a comedienne who seemed more interested in promoting her late night "adult" show There was a production show that was so loud that it distorted thing so much we left about ten minutes. They moved the Love and Marriage show from a small late night venue .to the main stage for one night. After that it got better. The production show featuring ballroom dancers was very good as were the two comics and the singer-impressionist.We didn't go ashore much.Did some shopping in Roatan and found a very good shop that sold silver jewelry. In Belize we took the caravan tour which was very informative. All in all.it was a relaxing cruise .but the only WOWs we found were the prime rin amd Merci.

Only a couple of WOWS
