Great trip on an updated older ship. I am D+ with around 50 cruises mostly with RCCL. Legend was built in 1995 but looks great after the dry dock. The smaller ships like Legend are much easier to get around with a lot less walking than the larger & newer ships. Keep in mind it doesn't offer as many venues as the Voyager class and up.

This was a port intensive itinerary which is what I would look for on the smaller ships. Food is typical RCCL which is fine for us. If you are looking for a higher end cruise then pay for it elsewhere. Meet and Mingle was hosted by Jeremie Guglielmi, Activities Manager, in the Viking Crown Lounge. Jeremie did a great job and everyone enjoyed his in sites. This was an 11 night cruise out of Quebec City. The passengers were mostly 60's and up. The ship only had about 1700 people with 1200 being Canadian, 400 Americans, and others from elsewhere throughout the world. Captain Kjell Nordmo was very visible and friendly to talk with. I downgraded the following:1)embarkation because the gangway was at a high angle. I saw a few people that needed some help going up. 2)Port Lecturer was a little to dry (boring?). I am very happy with Legend and would not hesitate to book her again.

Nice sized cabin. I picked this location because I thought it was under the Concierge Lounge. 8540 would be under it but this cabin was still fairly quiet.
