We wanted to spend some time with my brother & sister-in-law, they live near Bournemouth, we live in Canada so we thought a short cruise out of Southampton would be perfect.

This ship is 19 years old and frankly should be scrapped it is scruffy and showing its age. Our first night was spent in cabin C353 at the rear of the ship, these cabins should come with a serious health warning, it is like being on a bucking bronco, everything shook and we had what can only be described as the worst nights sleep ever. I complained and in fairness to them they moved us to a much better location.

Aside from that, we went to the shows in the main theatre and we surprised it only being 4 nights to get repeats, so we only saw 2 shows, I can understand getting repeats on a back to back cruise but definitely not on a 4 day cruise. Read more
