We just returned to the US from France after a wonderful river cruise. It was particularly interesting to be on board with people from all over the world. It added to our travel experience. Most travelers were French and there was a large contingent of Belgian travelers too. While there were very few English speakers on board, we were well informed at all times. All crew members spoke English and all announcements were in English as well as French. The food was amazing. The wines were terrific as well. Every meal was presented well and tasted great. My husband has some dietary restrictions and they were most accommodating. The service was outstanding. From the dining room to the lounge to the state rooms. All crew members were gracious and helpful. The ship is only one year old and is in wonderful condition very comfortable with pleasant colors. The public lounge areas and roof top seating were well situated and comfortable. The excursions ran smoothly and were paced well, each of them departing in the afternoon after lunch. The tour guides were knowledgeable and, again, all information was shared in English. As with most river cruises, evening entertainment is limited but we found it enjoyable just the same. Wifi is free but is spotty on the ship.
The ship is only one year old and is in wonderful condition very comfortable with pleasant colors. The staterooms were ample with large windows providing a great view as you travel up and down the river. The beds were extremely comfortable. Storage areas were plentiful. The bedding was quite good and extra pillows were provided without a special request. Lighting in the cabin was also good providing comfortable reading as well as applying make-up.
