Two years ago I went on the New England/Canada cruise leaving out of Boston with three gardening buddies. This year we did the second half of the trip leaving out of New York. I had never been to NY before and leaving the port and viewing the city scenery and Statue of Liberty was worth the whole price of the trip! The ship was similar to the Dawn so we had no trouble finding our way around. First stop was lunch and then to our balconies to sail away. As usual, our steward Rosario, the shows, the food and everything in general was top notch. Norwegian and its Free Style meal policy is a comfortable fit and that is why I choose this cruise line for my twice a year cruises. One of my friends celebrated a birthday while on the ship so I purchased the party package for $35. Rosario decorated the room, including an adorable towel cake, and my friend was thrilled! There was also a delicious chocolate cake that easily could have fed eight. We loved the ports, especially Bar Harbor with Acadia State Park. This has to be the most beautiful place on earth in the month of October.

I am pleased to say that absolutely nothing went wrong on our trip. We all stayed healthy, the staff treated us great, no bad weather or port issues, excellent NCL excursions, and we got on and off the ship every time with no drama. Of course everything fell apart once we got to the airport but that has nothing to do with Norwegian. Once again, thank you NCL for a wonderful cruise!

Very comfortable cabin and excellent room steward, Rosario. We loved having balconies as we were leaving New York.
