Originally I thought this was very over priced for 7 nights, but after the trip I had completely changed my mind. We did in one week what would have taken us on our own about 3 weeks. When you factor those extra two weeks, the cost of the Viking cruise was very reasonable. We saw so much and it was so easy. Just show up when and where you're told and the rest is just pure pleasure. Every detail is taken care of so you don't have to worry about a thing.

The tour guides were exceptional. Their local knowledge and personalities made the tours a real treat. I loved the sound system Viking provided that let you listen at a distance and not miss a single word. This was perfect for me because I'm a photographer and was able to stop and get any picture I wanted and never miss what the guide was saying.

The people on the boat lived up to everything Viking had promised. Always cheerful, helpful and kind. The tour director was amazing. His personality alone kept the entire week exciting and fun. We wondered if all the boats were blessed with someone this amazing. The person who took care of our cabin was also exceptional. Very personable and kind. We ended up tipping her extra just because of the quality of service she provided.
