My husband and I have cruised on NCL at least 7 times, p,us on other cruise ships. This was our 1St trip to Hawaii for our 50th Wedding anniversary We had a pre cruisetour for 3 1/2 days before we boarded the ship. The 3 days at the Waikki Marriott was wonderful. We were very anxious to board the ship and see what this one looked like. Our first impression when we opened our stateroom door was sheer horror. We were on the 10th floor aft with a balcony. The room was a shoebox. I immediatedly was very upset. The bed was butt against the wall of the bathroom, you had to slide out of bed to get into the bathroom...which was as small as you can imagine. We are not big people, but could not bend down in the shower to was your feet. No soap, or shampoo or shower cap, thank God we brought our own.

The pool was so small and always occupied with people playing volleyball which left us to find another pool. Well this was in the rear of the ship about 10x10 swim area. Are you kidding me. I won't even go into detail as how you had to get out of that pool. A ship as big as the POA with 2,500 passengers only had these terribly small pools.

Now onto to the dining rooms which were lovely. Breakfast was only served from 7am-to 9am, if you got there 910 you were not allowed in...which meant you had to go to the buffet upstairs which stopped serving breakfast at 9:45 what the hell? No dining rooms open in the afternoon due to being in port...well what about the people who stayed on the ship? If you came back from a tour and wanted to get something to eat, everything was closed. The food was not very appealing and tastless, the staff to friendly to the point of annoyance, touching your shoulder not being attentive, call you honey or sweetheart..this is not professional. Getting off the ship to go on a tour you had to walk 1/4 just to get to the tour bus. There were a lot of handicapped people who had a terrible time getting around in the heat and humidity, by the time they got to the tour bus they as well as us and others were exhausted. All in all, I am sad to sad to say We were very disappointed in the ship. Hawaii was gorgeous and we had a wonderful time. All our other NCL vacations were very memorable, I hop POA makes some changes...One last note, while eating in Cagneys steakhouse where there were suppose to be a dress code, sat some young people in tank tops and tee shirts, baseball caps and flip flops. We had our table changed. Please NCL make some changes for all our sakes.

Cabin Review

Mid-Ship Balcony

Cabin BA

Way, way to small, the bed was nice but right on the wall to the bathroom and the so called couch was like sitting on cement. The table and chair in the room was so small. Towels were like sandpaper.
