Wow, where do I start. Viking was waiting for us as we got off the plane and smoothly got us thru customs ,on to the bus and to the ship. We enjoyed the casualness of the cruise experience. The staff from deck hands to captain were cordial,helpful and caring. The food was great. The morning tours(included in the pricing) were very unique in that they were conducted by "locals" who really knew their stuff and guided us to some really neat places we would have missed. Our tour director (Nick) was outstanding. As we ended our cruise in Basel,Viking smoothly not only got us to the airport,but got us in the proper lines ,and thru customs again. A truly enjoyable experience. We will cruise with Viking again.
