We like to travel intensively been busy all the time and having different activities; we love ecological trips, lots of nature, hiking, etc… so we decided to take a relaxing cruise this time, so nothing will be in a hurry. This cruise route was a fit, 3 quite ports and 3 days at sea; the cruise started on Port Canaveral and visited Cococay, St Thomas and St Marteen. We flew to Orlando, FL and rented a car there. We drove to Melbourne and stayed in a front beach hotel for 2 nights, we were lucky and we saw dolphins at the beach. On the day embarkation day, we left the car in the Port Canaveral office (with Free shuttle to the port) and got to the port 3 hours before and the waiting line was not so bad, it took us around 45 minutes to check-in. To my surprise, the food was great, this is the second time I cruise in the same ship but this time I think that the food quality improved. The service in general was very good, except for few people that they were new and they lacked some information. The stateroom was OK, we had an issue with some noise in the bunk (we were 4 in the room), sometimes the noise was so hard that we woken up, so when we complained the cruise personnel tried everything to fix it without success, we were offered a different stateroom but we did not like the location so we stayed the whole cruise in the same room. The stateroom was somehow small but we fit OK and actually it was cosy. The shows were very good, only one show was postponed due to a technical issue but was replaced by another one and later on the show was presented again. The ship has several pools, a section for kids, two pools for families and one for adults only with several Jacuzzis. The water of the pools is cool, it will be better (at least for me) to warm up a little bit at least one of the pools. Regarding to the ports, the ship arrived on time to all ports and departed on time. Getting in and out of the ship was fast. Other ships had a reception on the port with water and ours only had a small module with water. It will be nice to have a similar reception as the other ship, with music lots of water, etc… Overall, I like RCI, they are very professional and this route is nice for relaxing, however, for the excursions we did not find anything that really worth for us, probably was better to just go down to the island and enjoy it

We enjoyed the aqua park and the slide, I recommend having both of them. The Aqua park is for one hour which is more than enough and the slide is for the whole day.The slide is not in the water, they have a hosepipe to put water into the slide and it is fun. It is for the whole family. In the sea there was some jellyfish which we all got burn, it was not very bad but after the aqua park we did not return to the water.

We took a taxi to the Orient beach which charged us 9 USD per person. The beach is nice and big, it also was full of dead sea plants (not sure why they do not remove them) and in the water there was some jellyfish which was not very nice. We arrived early, 9:00am and it seemed that we were the first to arrive, the beach was empty, so we walked to the end of the beach to the nude part, that section did have some people so we stayed there. You need to pay for the beach beds ($20 for the whole day), but we arranged to pay $10 for one hour. In general the beach is very nice but is a regular beach, nothing special. Then we took another taxi to the Maho beach (where the planes are, it cost us $8 per person), that was very nice, the beach is not so nice but you can swim there and there are a couple of bars and you really get to see the planes, feel their noise as well as their power when they take off. I recommend this beach. We spend like 2 hours here. There were no any beach beds or shadows. Then we took a taxi to the port, another $8 usd per person.

We took this excursion because no previous snuba experience was required and kids were allowed; it was a bad experience. The guide was always in a rush, since no experience was required we expected the guide to have some patience and this was not the case, on the first issue, no matter what, you are removed from the activity without any attempts to rejoin. For us, this was a bad experience since my two kids were removed from the activity because some water got into their goggles, so instead of making an effort to solve the issue and rejoin them into the activity, they were removed from it, probably because everything was in such a hurry so none had time to deal with anything. BTW, we all are good at water sports so few more minutes and a good guidance would have changed everything.I suggest requesting more experience for this activity or making sure that the guides have the patience and experience to deal with novice and kids.

Our experience was bad, the guide lack of patience and everything was in a rush. The location is like 30-40 minutes from the port so 3 hours should be enough however, since there are other groups the time was not enough and actually the real experience is for 15 minutes.
