Sailed the 4 day Bahamas cruise on Enchantment of the Seas out of Cape Canaveral. The following are my tips and comments.

Departure:

Get a cheap fare into Orlando and try to arrive by 10 AM. Rent a car & drive to Cape Canaveral. I used points to rent from Hertz and paid only the taxes ($8 each way). Pickup from the Hertz rental at the Marriott Orlando to save on taxes. The Marriott shuttle will pick you up from the airport. After calling the Marriott for the shuttle make sure to go down to the level below Baggage Claim to the area you're told to wait at. Also the cars rented from this location do no always come with a full tank. Ours was 3/4 full. You just fill it to about that level when you drop it off in Cape Canaveral. The drive is less than an hour with about 3 tolls on the route. Once you arrive at the Cape Canaveral Hertz location a shuttle will drop you off at your ship. The pickup for the return will be at the same spot.

Great location and size. Shows some wear in the large bathroom. You will occasionally hear music from the lounge below.
