My fiancé and I were on the trip that went to Mexico that was not allowed to dock because of the ebola patient.
Despite a lot of negative press, we had the time of our lives. We both read a lot of the negative reviews before going on the carnival cruises and were a little concerned at first. Our first cruise was in September to the Bahamas and we had such a wonderful time that we booked our next cruise in October. The entertainment was fantastic. The ship was 5 star as far as being clean. The rooms were wonderful and the beds deliver some of the best sleep you can get. The staff!!!! You can not beat the service and Hard work of the crew.
These guys truly go above and beyond to make your visit the best it can be. It was very emotional the last night to say good bye to them. If I could, I would give a one hundred dollar tip to each and every staff member from the kitchen to house keeping. They were wonderful and carnival cruise lines were more than generous to its guests for not being able to dock in Mexico even when it was not their fault. We are planning our 3rd cruise with carnival in Feb, to Hawaii.
The room was clean comfortable and the room staff was fantastic.
