It was a great experience! Awesome New Ship! Service was fantastic! We had so much fun and we were supposed to sail the Eastern Caribbean (St. Maarten, St. Thomas, Nassau), but due to weather conflicts, our Captain chose 2 new and exciting ports of call! so we went to Jamaica and Cozumel. Good decision with all that nasty weather and he kept us safe, which we all loved. All that being said, i do wish we would have booked a different location for our Balcony room. We booked room 14144, a Balcony Spa Room, which is an upgrade from normal Balcony, it includes unlimited access to the Therma Spa. It was exactly what we wanted when we booked, not too far from stairs, full access to Therma Spa (which is amazing! You have to experience it! review below), but we just happened to be under the Ping Pong Tables! so we heard lots of pounding above us on Deck 15. If we book this ship again, which we might, I will definitely book on the Starboard side of the ship Aft. the one we did stay in, 14144 was Port and Fwd, near the Therma Spa, but we were at the buffet a lot more, which is Aft, and so is the Spice H2O, another great and quiet hangout during the day. Ok, Therma Spa, you HAVE TO DO IT!! even if you don't book a Spa room, you have to pay the extra money on the 1st day to get access to it all week, it is so cool!!! you want to be in there and they have so much to really flush your toxins and relax with large windows looking out the front of the ship. lots of privacy, 2 saunas, 1 salt room, 1 steam room (that actually produces a lot of steam), plus what you see in the pics, a huge pool with several areas for jets to help relax you. Don't hate the Buffet, it is Awesome! really good food everywhere on the ship! Look out for the Rooster Man! He always has a Bright Idea!

Port & Shore Excursion Reviews

Ok this is a little different port. They are "partial" to Royal Caribbean's fleet, but don't let that keep you on the ship! There are a lot of things to do, and i am only going to caution you not to take money out there, and do not pay with a CC. We got really lucky and found an incredible Taxi Driver. His name is Demar, "Demcetours" on trip advisor and I highly recommend emailing him if you are ever planing on going to any part of Jamaica, Falmouth, Montego Bay, or wherever. Beach was so so, shopping was fun (only because of our taxi / tour guide), but you really need about 3 days to like Jamaica, and experience all it has. 8 hours is not enough. The cool part about that port is you can stay inside the fence if you don't want to see the sites, and they have big name US brands like Dairy Queen, Aunt Aunties Pretzels and more! Very nice people! some may scare you with how pushy they are for you to buy something, but just keep an eye on the good people and you will be just fine.
