First I should say we were all invited to complete an online survey about the cruise after we disembarked. I wanted to do this, but by the time we got home (we stayed on a few extra days in Rome, and then it's a 36-hour marathon to our part of the world), the survey was closed. Which is why I'm reviewing it here instead of direct to Celebrity as I would have preferred.

So I guess that's the first point I would make to Celebrity: keep your surveys open a little longer, to cater for those who are not flying home immediately. (Please don't assume we can go online while we're still away; some of us take holidays to escape the tyranny of technology).

It was a wonderful cruise. The ship is beautiful, the crew friendly, the food marvellous (though starting to lose its novelty and freshness by the end), the cabin stewards cheerful and charming, the whole atmosphere a lot of fun. The particular cruise we did (down the Adriatic, then Malta & Sicily, and up to Civitavecchia) included some wonderful destinations. Indeed it was these that attracted us to this particular cruise, and we weren't disappointed.
