Sail Date: Sep 2014
Cabin: Yacht Club Deluxe Suite

This was the second of two back-to-back cruises (Fantasia/Splendida) as a solo traveller. The nice surprise at check-in was an upgrade to the Yacht Club. ( since I had paid full double rates for both cruises, it certainly would not have cost the company but never the less, it was very nice).

The biggest advantage was it was so much less crowded but the service levels, food and wine were also a definite step-up from the week before too. ( Raffaele and Guiseppe in the restaurant were lovely and Willy, the butler, was a consumate professional)

My balcony was the same size as on the first cruise and although the room layout and furnishings were different, the total size was no larger than some cabins on the non-Yacht Club decks.

Very comfortable. Great view of the flying bridge when entering or leaving ports.
