We sailed last year on Mariner of the Seas. We figured we would try Voyager this year. Very nice ship but a little worn compared to Mariner. We had the same captain..nice man Capt Garry. Check in was easier this year due to the express line for our room . Found people in check in fairly rude. When you got on the ship everyone was very nice though. We waited for our bags till 9PM so we had dinner in our travelling clothes...yuck. Had a few drinks then collapsed exhausted from the day. Got up early the next day (at sea) and explored a bit with friends then we sat around the pool and had some drinks of the day. Had dinner and met our dinner companions ...all very nice people. We had a great cruise, all our excursions worked well for us and we did more this year tan last year. The only bad incident was being invited to a welcome back party and when we got there after changing clothes and our schedule, nobody from the ship showed up. I felt that they were very insincere and I guess they really do not value our loyalty to the line! I actually called customer service upon our return and had no satisfaction there either. I will check into other lines this year . I know it sounds trivial but when I go thru the trouble of accepting an invitation I expect the hosts to show up or at least apologize....Too late now. The service from the staff was excellent and the food also. There were line ups at every port and too many ships at Grand Cayman (7) Turned into pandemonium and very long lines to return to the ships due to all of the tenders being used for all the ships. I will check into the port calendars before booking next time. I find the mixed nationalities of the staff very entertaining and a great bonus. All of the people on board were extremely nice and most great characters! With a little tweaking on the organization of the port visits and maybe the invitation coordination this would have been an exceptional cruise. We rate it as good!
