Sail Date: Sep 2014

The Celebrity Reflection was launched in 2012, and the designers built the ship with the passengers needs and wants at the forefront. Spacious, stylish, modern, and comfortable all describe the Reflection. Indoor and outdoor pool. "Self-Guided wine tasting" where you an dispense your own wine (a taste, small or large glass) from 100 selections ranging from inexpensive to $25 a glass. We were concerned about sailing with 3000 other guests, but we never felt cramped or crowded, which we have felt on smaller ships with fewer people.

Food - standard food is excellent. Service was outstanding. The specialty restaurants were much larger (less intimate) than NCL, and we had minor problems with both meals.

Excursions - very good, although we prefer private tour guides since it became affordable with 3 couples. You cannot beat private tours versus the large busloads if you can afford it.

Cabin Review

Cabin 7

Spacious, modern, king sized bed. Has a very modern TV system with many, many entertainment choices. Level 3, one floor above gangway which tended to be noisy when preparing for excursion disembarkation, but not a major problem. Blackout curtain over window, so room could still be very dark for daytime napping or sleeping in.
