Additional details

Sail Date: Oct 2014
Cabin: Mini-Suite with Balcony

The Crown Princess needs to be reconditioned as it has been some time and it is clearly visible. The staff tries hard to maintain what they can but carpeting that is coming up and paint that is rusting through are clear indications that it is not working.

Embarkation and Debarkation were done very well and the crew and attendants were both very cordial and competent.

The two specialty restaurants were not up to par. Sabatini's in particular did not merit the additional charge as the food was quite salty and for two of the dishes lukewarm at best. The Crown Grille was better but not that much different than dining in the Da Vinci restaurant.

Cabin Review

Mini-Suite with Balcony

Cabin MD

The Crown Princess could stand for a freshening up and the specialty restaurants are probably not worth the fare. Crew staff were uniformly very nice and helpful.
