This was our first cruise ever, and it was absolutely amazing. The size of the boat is astounding, 3rd biggest in the world right now, the other cruise ships looked dwarfed next to our at the ports. The services and things to do on board are endless. We had a balcony room and it was perfect. Some who may have travelled on other cruise lines might find the epic rooms much smaller, but honestly how big of a room do you need if all you do is sleep there?? The space management was great and it was very conveninent for us, and we were glad to have the balcony to Watch the sunsets on everynight. The food was delicious, everynight it was different and usually in theme with the area we were in. The staff are all extremly friendly and make it a point to greet you with a smile and a hello everytime they cross your path. The rooms are done twice a day so always extra clean, and our room service staff even learned our names on the first day which showed genuine interest in giving a personalized and excellent service. The staff is very diverse and international which is quite interesting, so you can always find someone that speaks just about any language you want aboard!

A lot of the activites on board are extra, as is the alcohol, but we knew this coming aboard so I suggest planning a small budget just for the ship. Among free activites though are the pool/waterpark, movies, comedy acts, musical acts, dancing and nightly parties. 3 restaurants are free (1 buffet, 2 a la carte) so you can switch it up once in a while though we really enjoyed the buffet and ended there almost every night! I would cruise again with this ship and company in a heartbeat, really great Customer service. Oh and when you come aboard the ship, everyday is a party, theres always juice and drinks and a small lounge ready for you to decompress from your daily expéditions! BTW highly recommend the daily expéditions, they are highly Worth the expense, and will save you lots of money and time VS going out on your own, getting lost and risking to miss the ship. With the ncl excursions no worries, the ship will never leave witout you, the guides are very knowledagable and will leave you some time on your own, and transit to destinations is a cinch.
