I want to start by saying we normally cruise Royal Caribbean and like Royal Caribbean until this cruise occurred.

We booked our cruise at the last minute to try to take a quick break from a stressful time. Boarding the ship for the first time was a long wait due to non working cameras. We arrived to our cabin which was at the end of a short hall located next to a noisy crew exit. When I entered the cabin the first thing I saw was red lipstick on one wall and black eye make-up on the vanity. That was enough for me to determine this room was not thoroughly cleaned, will all the weird illnesses going around this was a concern. I waited in line at guest relations only to be greeted by a less than helpful employee who was non apologetic, told me there were no other rooms available and to wait by the cabin and someone from housekeeping would come. Needless to say 20 minutes later nobody was there so I returned to the front desk and demanded to speak so someone higher up. After much battle and sitting around we were finally given another cabin after departure and lost vacation time. I went through 4 people before this got accomplished, non of whom were apologetic or who I felt really wanted to make me happy. We did offer to leave the ship.

I will say our cabin attendant Dasa was very friendly and attentive. Our cabin was kept clean, ice full and towels fresh.
