I regret to say that the cruise I just returned from today was disappointment. I'll start with the good. The adult comedy show presented by George Lopez was a blast. I would happily pay for a night out to see the two nut-balls that were on the cruise this weekend. This was the o ly adult entertainment I found to be good. The music shows were cliche' and of really crap quality (typical cruise ship crew players).
Generally speaking, the food was the quality of what would be found ona low-cost cruise. The fare had it`s high points, but much of the grub remided me of Golden Corral. Food just tasted stored-over and a big disappointment for me. By the way Carnival, if you find it necessary to slice the cheesecake into paper thin pieces, you might as well just leave it off the menu.
The ship was kept sort of clean except for the last night of the cruise. Berthing deck 5 smelled like the city dump. Trash from cruises past could be found if you knew where to look.
The rooms were rushed through when serviced. Lots of sewer gas coming from the floor drains in the bathroom. It was difficult to make contact with the Steward on a number of occasions
