Just got back from a great cruise on the Carnival Freedom. Embarkation was smooth and we were on board and having lunch in the Freedom Restaurant on the Lido Deck by 11:30. Bags were delivered to our rooms which were ready by 1:30.

This newly renovated ship was amazing. The Freedom has something for everyone. We enjoyed the entertainment around the ship at the different bars and in the atrium. The singers there were superb! Our favorite night time show was the Magician/comedian show ! All ports were enjoyed and so beautiful. I would love to sail on this ship again in the future.

Dining on this ship was probably the best we have ever had (we have cruised three different cruise lines). We especially enjoyed the Sun Steak House. It was worth the $35. charge and more. The hamburgers at Guy Fieres were the best and my friend and I tried to have at least one a day. The burritos at the Blue Iguana Bar were so tasty and the best I've had at any Mexican Restaurant . You are able to choose the ingredients and they have many to choose from. We ate each night in the Chic Restaurant and were never dissatisfied with the selection or the preparation of the food. Our wait staff was wonderful.The desserts were always yummy ! I can't leave this section without talking about the pizza. I normally do not like pizza served on board...the pizza on the Freedom is an exception..you will love it! If you go hungry on the Freedom...it's not their fault. What can I say...I give them a 10 +
