Second Cruise with RCI and another excellent trip. The Voyager being slightly older than the Explorer we took the last time showed a little more wear and tear and was less elaborate in fixtures in some public areas. We took a Superior Balcony this time and it had a lot more space and seemed marginally upgraded with a large comfortable bed with nice appointments. We still enjoyed the main decks for docking so the Balcony has little real value over an Ocean View but if you get a good deal go for it. We thought the Voyager Staff were the best Joseph and Anthony our waiters and Christian our attendant all treated us royally. Generally I thought the staff were more pleasant than on the Explorer so comments to the contrary may mean a one time issue or they are just plain trying harder. Kirk the Cruise director is the best he participated in every event personally and had a terrific attitude. His staff showed great enthusiasm especially Mercedese, Brian and Charlotte. The Entertainers like Mosaic and our home grown Canadian Group Adams Rib were terrific. Ports were great especially Dunns River Falls climb, not to be missed, but you need to be quite mobile to finish it. Lababdee is fine for relaxing beach day but coming after a day at sea I think more activity would be better. Grand Cayman crowded with 7 ships in port and very expensive.

Cozumel our favorite port. We found a little bar serving Corona's for US$1.00. It is just a block from the famous Carlos N Charlies were you pay US$6.00 for Sol beer just to hear louder music but it is a must see I guess. We have been amazed how well the boarding process works it took us not more than 20 minutes to get processed and get to our cabin. The baggage could take until 9Pm but ours was there by 5:30PM. I recommend walk off with luggage on your return but even with luggage handling the tag system is very efficient. Just pay attention to the color of you tags and the schedule. I checked and listened to comments from other in port and definitely got the impression people cruising RCI were the most satisfied. By the way the Freedom was in port and wow what a ship to behold.
