This was my 17th cruise - my husband and I achieved Celebrity's Gold status with this cruise. We chose this cruise for the opportunity to go to Aruba and Curacao, both which we haven't been to before. We drove down from Charleston, SC the night before and stayed at the Radisson in Cocoa Beach and for just $110 were able to spend the night and park our car for the duration and had very prompt shuttle service to the port both ways. Our room at the hotel was musty smelling though.

Other previous passengers of the Liberty told us it was possible to get on the ship just after 11 a.m., but it didn't work out too well...we had to wait for quite a while after ticket processing to get up the ramps. Others who got to the ticket counters around 12:30 said they breezed through the embarkation process. However, the same previous passengers also told us to go straight to the Guy's Burger Joint on Deck 9 to enjoy the awesome burger offerings and they were right on the mark! The burgers were consistently top notch the entire trip.

Our room was on the Riviera deck (1) with a window - great location mid-ship and just two rooms down from the elevators (Room #1347). Cabin steward (Camelo) and his team were top notch. I also need to give kudos to Corey, the best Cruise Director we've ever had on a ship (he looks and acts like Drew Carey)! Be aware, though, that he will only be onboard for one more week and is then due for a 3 month vacation (he has been working on ship for 10 months straight!). He really made this a Fun Ship atmosphere.

Cabin was very roomy, we liked being on a lower level (less rocking). Our shower was slow in draining and flooded the bathroom floor. The problem was taken care of by plumbing the last day of our stay on board.
