Cruising with NCL was an amazing experience! I booked a "guaranteed" balcony room for super super cheap just a week or so in advance, and ended up with a "family balcony" room. It was a pretty good size, and the balcony was so great. My boyfriend and I enjoyed breakfast on the balcony, as well as some drinks at night while looking at the stars. We loved having our own little private outdoor space. Only downside was having to smell cigarette smoke from the people on the balcony next door basically every time we were on our balcony. But it was worth it, especially for the inexpensive price.

Probably the most memorable part of the cruise was the delicious food and great dining service!!! The appetizers, main courses, and desserts were the greatest I've ever had. The chocolate volcano dessert is to die for - I ordered it every single night. It was so popular that by the end of the trip, they had run out of the strawberries that were on the side - but oh well. We enjoyed dining at our own single table when it was slow, and didn't mind sharing a table with other people during busier times. It was great not having assigned seating and assigned times like other cruises have. The wait staff were very friendly and pleasant as well. I can't wait to cruise with NCL again in the future.
