Cabin: Family Mini-Suite with Balcony

This is my 3rd Norwegian cruise. Embarkation was a breeze after I finally got my birth certificate faxed to me. Will never do that again "leave passports home". We were on the ship in 20 minutes. Wife had asked for a wheelchair but none came. After a 45 minute wait we decided to walk. Got on ship and went directly to cabin 12796. A mini family suite. Cabin was long but not too wide. My had ordered a scooter that would not fit all the way into the room. Fun at night trying to get to the bathroom. Bathroom was large with tub and double sing. King bed was comfortable. Balcony was small. The only difference between the regular balcony and the mini suite is the double sink and the tub. Ate the first night at the circus tent the show is really great.

We had a meet and greet with fellow cruise critic people and it was really nice. Thanks to all who worked so hard to set that up. Shore excursions, we did 3. First the Bermuda triangle night glass bottom boat. Second was a tour of the island with a handicapped bus. The last was a day at horseshoe bay beach. We had not been to Bermuda since July 1976. The change in the island was truly amazing. The population has grown by 5 times. There were not many cars then and you could ride motorbikes without a problem. Now to the ship it is true that the ship is huge . This is the biggest ship we have been on. We have been on 17 cruises but this ship is not designed well there are only 2 banks of elevators. One is forward the other aft. The food was good we ate in the main dining room Manhattan. This was really nice My wife especially liked the band that played during dinner. The specialty dining that we ate in were excellent. Both the Italian and the Argentina were great. The Irish Pub was really nice. The only place we did not like was the buffet. Crowded and food not very good. We saw 3 shows Burn the floor great dancing. Rock of ages is not to be missed. It was equal to a Broadway show. We live in New York and know plays. We go at least 8 times per year. The Comedy club was fun, improv is amazing.

The casino was good did not lose too much. The ships personnel were all helpful and eager to please. I would say that the corridors are too narrow. If a cart is in the hallway a person with a scooter can not pass. We had a great cruise however when we got back to New York everything went bad. The night before the gave out luggage tags, color coded with the time you wanted to get off the ship. They did not call any colors. We were trying to get a wheelchair for one of our party. WE waited an hour and a half and it never showed. So we started to walk off. We waited an hour and a half to get to the customs people. Now its 11:30 the people for the next cruise are being held up. Our car service is calling us threating to cancel. It was just a mess and we doubt if we will ever use Norwegian again

Cabin Review

Family Mini-Suite with Balcony

Cabin M3

Good cabin no noise. Balcony small. Do not get this cabin if you rent a scooter as it will not fit properly in the room.
